About the FEC Dublin conference
FEC Dublin is Ireland’s premier sport business event. It is an event designed to educate and understand the role of fan engagement within the world of sport.
Content wise, the conferences focus on the hottest trends in the world of Sports business. So while the main focus is on fan engagement and fan experience, Panelists also discuss what technologies are used to help shape that conversation. As a result, OTT, GDPR & Data, Augmented reality and Virtual Reality were all hot topics on panels last year.
Consequently the 2018 event was a huge success with over 150 people attending. Key sports marketing people including Kerry Keenan and Gordon Kaye from Celtic, Everton’s head of fan engagement Scott McLeod, Barry Cunningham of Irish Rugby and Vishnu Kumar of the Caribbean Premier League spoke at the event. As a result, excellent insights on the technology and initiatives used to engage with fans were gleamed.
Other organisations to speak at the event included Winners CRM, Special Olympic Europe and AZ Alkmaar. While Aston Villa, Sport England, World Rugby, Sunderland, Phoenix Suns and Worcester Warriors are among the organisations to have been represented on panels in the past.
We would like to offer a sincere thanks to all who helped make event such a terrific success, the speakers, our partners, the attendees and the staff at the Aviva. We look forward to seeing you all at next year’s event!
